What do we offer?

EIDO Inform is a library of over 400 patient information sheets in PDF format. They can be downloaded from our secure website and printed for patients.

Each one of the information sheets provides an explanation of the condition, the benefits of the procedure, any alternatives (including no treatment), what the procedure involves, what the patient can do to help make the operation a success, the potential complications and post-operative expectations. This means that patients can make informed decisions about whether or not to go ahead with their treatment. They are available in English, many other languages and accessibility versions for people with low vision or who are blind.

As a core component of our Informed Consent Suite all our patient information sheets have been written by practising specialists. They are peer-reviewed, evidence-based and fully referenced. They are regularly updated to ensure they are suitable in the clinical environment.

Each information sheet bears its own unique Plain English Campaign Crystal Mark.
